Zari Zardozi workshop in India

Agra

Immerse yourself in Indian craftsmanship by exploring the National Crafts Museum followed by scenic drive to Agra.

Day 05

Kite Festival celebration in Jaipur

Jaipur

 

Great timing! celebrate Kite festival (mid-winter harvest festival) with local family followed by cooking class & dinner.

Day 07

Carpet weaving workshop at village of women rug weavers

Jaipur

 

Experience a day of vibrant culture, from meeting women rug weavers and potters in a nearby village to exploring the mesmerizing Amer Fort.

Tie & Dye workshop in Jodhpur

Jodhpur

Join a hands-on tie-dye workshop with a master artisan. Learn tying, boiling techniques, and create your masterpiece!

Visit to Salawas village of Bishnoi tribes of Rajasthan

Jodhpur

Open-jeep safari through village of Bishnoi tribe, meet durry weavers, potters. Day ends with local family dinner at their farm.

Delwara village excursion for hand embroidery with women artisans

Village excursion to visit a women artisans' non-profit for a hands-on embroidery workshop, then explore City Palace and Lake Pichola.

CULINARY NOTE

​Many Indian dishes use garlic, onions, yogurt, milk, and whole spices to boost the flavor. If you have any allergies or intolerances, it’s a good idea to check with the hotel or restaurant staff about the ingredients before you order.

This program includes total of 11 breakfasts and 06 major meals during the tour.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, we kindly request all participants to obtain Travel Insurance, which should, at a minimum, cover medical emergencies and trip cancellations. Please note that cancellations made within 90 days of the trip's start date will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the trip price. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any exceptions to this policy, which is why we strongly recommend all guests have Travel Insurance in place.

PRE / POST TOURS

Our team at India Textile Trails will be happy to assist / organize for arrangements in case any participant arriving in Indian before the program start date or planning to travel further (within India) after the completion of this program.

In such cases, please share your additional request at the time of booking. 

WEATHER

January is a wonderful time to visit Rajasthan. The weather is pleasantly cool, with average temperatures around 20°C (72°F) during the day and a comfortable low of 7°C (46°F) at night. The skies are  typically clear, making it perfect for exploring the city’s stunning architecture and vibrant culture.

TRAVEL ARRANNGEMENTS

India Textile Trails will reach out to you regarding your travel arrangements when the time comes. You can expect this email to be sent 90 days or more before your departure, unless your booking is made within 90 days of the tour. Additionally, we will provide you with a Travel preparation document before your trip, which will include a detailed itinerary, arrival and departure details, a suggested packing list, helpful information about the country, and more.

ANNIVERSARY OFFER

India Textile Trails is celebrating 15th year of its incorporation and running a special offer to celebrate this with our participants. The 10% special off is applicable only for the tour in January'26 (Textile Legacies of Rajasthan) booked on of before 30th Sept'25. The offer will be applicable on published price of the tour, only for limited spots. 

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION

The program price is inclusive of all applicable taxes and online fund transfer charges. The booking for this program closes on 30th Sept'25.

Any cancellation within 90 days from the program start date will attract 100% cancellation charges. 

TRAVEL HOST

An English-speaking Tour Manager from India Textile Trails will accompany your group throughout the journey. Their primary role is to ensure your safety, assist with any concerns, and help you make the most of your trip. In addition to guiding, they will coordinate with local vendors and partners to provide the perfect balance of pace, information, and timing for your experiences.

HEALTH & SAFETY

We make every effort to deliver all elements of the planned itinerary and specific accommodations; however, unforeseen challenges with certain vendors may require adjustments to your travel experience. Should any changes be necessary, we will do our best to provide equivalent accommodations and/or activities where possible. We appreciate your understanding in such situations. It is important that travelers ensure they meet all necessary entry requirements for India. Various countries may have specific Covid-19 regulations, such as proof of full vaccination, pre- and post-arrival testing, or mandatory mask-wearing in public spaces. Please be prepared to comply with these requirements. India Textile Trails cannot be held responsible for refunding any lost trip funds if you are unable to join the scheduled trip due to failure to meet the entry requirements set by India Textile Trails and the relevant authorities.

TRAVEL HEALTH

It's advisable to consult a doctor, nurse, or healthcare provider, or visit a travel health clinic, ideally about six weeks before your trip. If you have any existing health concerns, please make sure to reach out to your healthcare provider before registering for this tour.

PROGRAM START & END LOCATIONS

This trip begins in New Delhi, India on Sunday, 10th January 2026 and ends in Udaipur, India on Saturday, 23rd January 2026. On completion of the tour, you may opt for additional nights in Udaipur or book your flight to onward destination. 

ACCESSIBILITY

Please note that our excursions may involve traversing varied and sometimes challenging terrains, including hilly areas and rough gravel paths. Additionally, some of the hotels and workshop venues we visit may feature stairs, as elevators are not always available. We also want to inform you that certain workshops will require participants to sit on the floor for extended periods. We encourage you to consider your comfort and fitness level in relation to these conditions, ensuring that you are prepared for an engaging and active experience.

INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS

Our programs are inclusive of almost all services that comes under our scope of work and you will receive a detailed information of all inclusions & exclusions at the time of enquiry.

However, it is important to note some of the services that you need to book for yourself. These include your tourist visa to India, Travel Insurance, International & Domestic flights and tipping.
